What I’m asked the most.
How can I order a print?
Very soon this website will have a ‘Buy Now’ option on it and you will be able to order straight from my site. Right now, however, you will need to send me an email with the name and size of the picture you would like. Look at this page for more information about prints.
What equipment do you shoot with?
I love my Nikon. This thing has been around the world with me and put up with humidity, cold weather, sand storms, motorcycle accidents, and monsoons. It’s a beast. Most of my shots are taken off the hip so I mainly work with the 18-105 lens, which is typically an excellent range for capturing what I need to while I travel, however I wide angle and telephoto lenses, as well.
How many countries have you been to?
Somewhere in the 20s, I want to say. Canada, Mexico, Norway, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Germany, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Timor-Leste, Brunei, Thailand, Burma, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, UAE, Oman… I’m sure I’m missing some…
What is your artistic philosophy?
Not having been an art major, I find this question difficult to answer because I don’t think you need to have a certain philosophy to be an artist. Honestly, I just think you need a point of view. I take my pictures based on how they make me feel or how they portray something ordinary in an extra-ordinary way. My goal in the end is to share this point of view and these emotions with people that would not ordinarily be in a position to experience them on their own. I want you to either feel like you are there or wish you could be.
Still can’t find your answer?
